ProteoRE (Proteomics Research Environment) is a centralized online infrastructure that allows biologist / clinician users with no programming experience to interpret their proteomics data interactively, reproducibly and collaboratively. Built on the Galaxy environment, ProteoRE (http://www.proteore.org) lets you run annotation and graphical visualization tools, build and share complete analysis strings through documented user interfaces.
Participants will learn how to use the features of the ProteoRE site to interpret and manipulate proteomic data based on two real-world case studies: 1. proteome annotation of a human or murine biological sample; 2. design and implementation of a biomarker candidate selection strategy.
Emphasis will be placed on practical aspects, presentations on data sources and functional analysis methodologies used will also be made.
